Friends, Here is an SmS Application for Java enabled mobile phones to Send Free sms  all over  India.  It currently supports 9 service providers. The application Uses  GPRS  connection to send sms.  All you need is to register in these sites and using the user ID and password you can login to the application to send free sms. sabin also attached a Handler Menu to it so that you can apply free GPRS tricks working in your location.

I am giving here all the features of this release . 1 ) support 9 sites for sending sms , now Ultoo is also added. 2) if user wants , then his/her name can be appended at the end of message 3) Text limit of 1000 characters. If text increases than 140 chars , then the chars after 140 will be sent as second sms and so on. 4) Multi recipients selection window added. Now you cn easily create the sequence of recipients number. 5) Save contacts to local record. Application currently supports 20 local contacts. The idea is not to make a phonebook , but a group. Suppose u have to send sms to a group frequently that has many contacts. You can manually select the recipients each tym from multisender , or alternatively , you can just select the recipients once using multisender , then save this sequence of numbers as a group in contact. So afterwards , wenevr u want to send sms to same group , u cn just select them frm contacts. 6) Inline message box and contact box. To open these boxes in phones default editor , just click on them. 7) multi threaded support . 8) Hide/minimize button added. Now if ur phone supports minimizing , then u cn minimize the app . Since i wont have access to pc fr few days , i havnt correctd some minor things , some small flaws are : 1) Incomplete contact list : wen u click "add from contacts" , only then the contact list is initialized in a new thread. So if u first add a new contact , and then click on add from contact , u may see incomplete list. In such case ,just restart app. 2) contacts cnt be deleted , i forgot to add this button , he he. But u cn edit the contact anytime.
